Tiny and very nice, everything you need is there and it’s thoughtfully decorated; the hosts Edith and Arend are great, helpful, and very friendly, the pool is lovely and open to guests, the setting is idyllic in a well‑maintained neighborhood with restaurants and shops nearby, and there are many worthwhile sights in the area; it’s right on the dike and along the bike trail, with a parking spot right outside the door, and the bed is super comfortable, making it ideal for a short trip for two. However, on warm days the little house heats up quickly and ventilation only works when it isn’t raining; it’s very noisy to the outside, especially at night when rain hits the roof hard; the fridge is a bit small for longer stays; when the weather is bad the outside area feels cramped; there’s no internet; and the toilet passage is tight, which could be a problem for larger people.
