Located in Dutzendteich Park, Congress Hotel Mercure Nürnberg an der Messe is a 15‑minute walk from Nuremberg Trade Fair. Rooms have flat‑screen satellite TVs, bathrooms and Wi‑Fi; a lobby internet terminal is available. Tangram serves cuisine on an outdoor terrace, and Black Bar & Lounge offers beer, fine wines, and snacks. A jogging path runs through park from hotel.

The location is really close to the exhibition centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleaners left the windows open and moths and bugs entered the room, so I had a bad night. No one told me there was no water in the room, even though you could fill bottles for free at the reception. It was very overpriced because of the exhibition period.

It was very frustrating that the listed opening hours for the bar and restaurant did not match reality. Since there is no restaurant right next to the hotel, we had to grab a “snack.” We didn’t expect this after a 3‑hour journey.

The front desk, restaurant, and bar were solid, but the towel was too small, a standing lamp was broken, and there were only two tiny pillows; the worst part was the door that had to be jammed hard before it locked, which was disappointing.
