It was historic with charm and grandeur, and after asking for an upgrade we received a beautiful remodeled room that we loved—it was spacious and beautifully decorated. Nothing was wrong.

The room felt up to date and I liked having a restaurant inside the hotel; the staff were wonderful. However, none of the outlets worked correctly, the lamps were broken, the tub was too high to enter safely, and I was supposed to have a walk‑in shower but didn’t get it; attempts to change rooms were denied because they were booked.
