The location is perfect if you want to visit the ruins. The rooms are in the middle of greenery, you can hear screaming monkeys and plenty of natural sounds (if you like that). Hummingbirds and huge butterflies fly around. The rooms are clean, spacious, and have everything you need. The staff were very courteous, especially a young man. I’m not sure if the restaurant belongs to the hotel, but the service there was very unfriendly.

The restaurant and the overall vibe of the place were great, but the rooms were very neglected; they were clean enough, yet the shower was in bad shape.

“Heerlijk even helemaal weg de jungle in!”

The jungle setting was stunning, with charming paths through the forest leading to a very good restaurant that served tasty food and offered Wi‑Fi only there; from the bed we could look out, hear and see the jungle, even hearing howler monkeys one morning and spotting a squirrel on the little bridge, while each evening the restaurant put on a live‑music and fire‑show. Unfortunately we couldn’t relax on or near the room because there was no Wi‑Fi in the room, and the nightly show became repetitive.

“Jungle rooms in Palenque”

The rooms in Palenque’s jungle were awesome—some large, some small—and you should expect an immersive jungle experience! A nearby restaurant served dinner and breakfast, and the location was perfect for visiting the Palenque ruins the next morning. Mosquitoes were present inside the rooms, and the smaller rooms were quite hot.

The atmosphere and the sounds of the animals were lovely, and the breakfast was very tasty. The service was also good. Nothing to add.
