The breakfast was nice, the rooms were clean and spacious, making it super suitable for a city stay.
The room was a decent size, and the hotel’s location was fantastic—right next to Stadtpark and just 5 minutes from the harbor promenade. From there, the cathedral, cable car, market hall, and old town were all quick and easy to reach. The breakfast buffet was good, and the staff explained everything thoroughly when we checked in. The rooftop bar was great; after a city stroll or in the evening you could relax there and enjoy a Poncha or cocktail. The only downside was that the room temperature wouldn’t drop; even after cooling the room with the air‑conditioner all day and then turning it off, it became very warm again after 30 minutes.

Everything was fine except for a large portion of the staff who were not at all warm or welcoming. A breakfast lady who heard my “hello” looked at me and didn’t even bother to respond.

The room was lovely and unpretentious, featuring an impressive rooftop food and drink selection and absolutely exceptional staff who were incredibly helpful from the start and throughout our stay with advice. The only downside was the lack of parking out front and the 5‑minute walk from the public car park, which only has five spots nearby – a minor issue compared to our arrival experience.
The rooftop pool area was a fantastic bonus.
