“Prima verblijf nabij pittoreske vissershaven.”

B&B Hotel Grachtenhuus is located in a new‑build area on the edge of Greetsiel, about a 10‑minute walk from the picturesque harbor. The luxury 2‑person room was spacious, super clean, modern, and tastefully decorated with a good, large bed and all the facilities listed on the booking site. Breakfast was of good quality and well‑varied. For dinner we recommend the historic restaurant Hohes Haus; you should book in advance. The area around Greetsiel is great for bike rides, for example along the mudflats; the Pilsum lighthouse is nice to see. Nothing to add.

“5 Sterne!! Ein Kleinod in Deitschland!”

We’ve driven all across Germany from south to north, staying in a few hotels, and this one was by far the best! ♥️ It was not only the cheapest, cleanest, and had the best breakfast, but also offered a great environment for cycling and the owner was the friendliest. A hotel that just makes you feel at home. The only downside is that it’s over 1000 km away, but I’d book it again immediately and would recommend it to everyone.

“Jeder Zeit gerne wieder!”

The staff were very nice and always helpful with questions or problems. The breakfast was okay, but for the price I expected fresh rolls from a bakery; instead we got reheated rolls, though the toppings selection was fine. There were also yogurt, scrambled eggs, and bacon, and we could have coffee, tea, and cocoa at any time free of charge. What I didn’t like was that despite asking, the bathroom fan filter hadn’t been cleaned – it was dusty and looked bad – and the drain was completely clogged, but it was fixed right after 9 p.m.

The location was quiet, the breakfast excellent, the staff very friendly, and the room was lovely.

The breakfast was very bland, and we didn’t see much service. On two of the five days, the room wasn’t cleaned. It was very annoying that my wife was bitten by an insect on the first night; the bleeding wound left several blood spots on the sheet. The sheet wasn’t changed for five days. I would have expected a hotel of that standard and the cost. The reception was only present during check‑in. The rest is as stated above.
