“Teleurstellend”

The room was okay, but that was all; the food was bad, most items on the menu (including drinks) were unavailable, the coffee machine was broken so we had instant coffee, the chef suddenly disappeared, and there was nothing in the neighborhood; the staff were unwelcoming, they tried to charge us for a broken chair and forced us to pay mid‑stay even though we’d already paid a deposit at arrival; the resort was very small and we couldn’t go outside because of roaming dogs.

“Quick and relaxing stay”

Getting in and out was quick and simple, the setting was relaxing, the room was comfortable, but we did find insects and mosquitoes.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, surrounded by a breathtaking garden with a serene view of the river. The early morning birdwatching was a treat, and I slept comfortably on the plush beds, which were a welcome respite from the rest of Kanchanaburi's accommodations. However, the hotel's cafe, which I was looking forward to trying, didn't open until 10 am, leaving me to settle for a standard breakfast instead.

“War okay anhand des Preises”

I was enchanted by this resort's tranquil atmosphere and its original charm, which is still evident in its small but beautifully maintained bungalows. The ample parking area was a welcome bonus, and I appreciated the secluded location. However, I did notice that the proximity to the river brought its fair share of unwanted critters, which wasn't entirely unexpected.

“Little paradise away from the big city”

I had an incredible time at this hotel, largely due to its unbeatable location and the exceptional hospitality of the staff. They went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. However, the hotel's surroundings proved to be a bit of a challenge, as I encountered a persistent issue with mosquitoes that made it difficult to fully appreciate the beautiful setting. Despite this, the staff's efforts to mitigate the problem and their overall kindness made up for the inconvenience.
