“Urlaub wie bei der Familie”
Everything! From the super lovely and warm housemaids and houseguests, to the fantastic room with a great balcony view, to the lovingly varied breakfast, the stay was a complete success. Our dog was welcomed with the utmost warmth, and even the tough conditions (extreme shedding, leading to more mess) were shrugged off with a shoulder shrug. If we come back to the area, Elfriede Guesthouse will definitely be our first choice! There is nothing to say about it, even if we look hard for something.
The photos don’t do justice to how beautiful this place is; everything was spotless, the room bright and cool, the bathroom modern, and the balcony spacious. I could keep my stuff chilled in the fridge, the parking was right under the building, and it’s in the heart of the city. The owner was amazing, welcomed us immediately with kindness and always made us feel comfortable; when my boyfriend had muscle pain she kindly gave us a cream and was always available. Thanks for everything, I highly recommend!

The location was very nice and quiet, and from the start we felt very comfortable and at home because the staff gave a very familial vibe. All requests were fulfilled immediately whenever possible.

The friendliness and the view were wonderful.
Everything was wonderful: the hosts (the whole family), impeccable cleanliness, a welcoming atmosphere in the room and breakfast hall, and a rich, varied breakfast. The room’s terrace offered a splendid mountain view where you could relax on a sun lounger. The pension’s location is in a marvelous spot that surely recharges you. Note the free cable car rides in the area and bus discounts via the guest card issued by the pension. I warmly recommend it! Thank you Gerlos Gmund, thank you Pensiunea Elfriede for an unforgettable holiday! We didn’t like that the vacation ended too quickly! 🙂
