Located five minutes from Cancale harbor, La Metairie du Vauhariot offers charming Breton‑style cottages for up to five guests, each with a private terrace, en‑suite bathroom, washing machine, ironing facilities, and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and fridge. Guests enjoy free Wi‑Fi, heated indoor pool access, sea views of Mont St‑Michel Bay, free parking, and proximity to St Malo (12 km), Cancale (1.5 km) and the beach (3 km).

A charming Métrairie, high up in Cancale with a stunning sea view and, on clear days, the Mont‑Saint‑Michel. Ideal spot: port and restaurants only a 10‑minute walk away. Direct departure for a lovely coastal walk. The duplex cottage is very pleasant and well equipped. Ground floor: living room with sofa and TV, fully equipped kitchen. Upper floor: bedroom with comfortable bedding and a shower bathroom. The real coup de cœur: a large terrace and garden with sea view, two lounge chairs to relax, and a big table for outdoor meals. Don’t forget the heated pool right next to it, great in the evening. The full breakfast was tasty, but the selection of savoury items was limited. Arrival only between 17:00 and 20:00; a €15 surcharge applies outside that window.

Typical French breakfast. Nice that the plums came from the tree. In the morning it was lovely to wake up with a view of the water and sunrise. Price‑quality: we just came from a super nice, cozy and well‑maintained stay, and this was the complete opposite, for twice the price. Comfort—e.g., toilet paper was not on a holder but in a wooden box on the floor. Doors slammed loudly into the lock. Small kitchen. Very small bathroom. Charging the car was very clumsy. Very old and unattractive patio furniture (same with the pool). Garden maintenance was far below expectations. A hum from a garden lamp. Path in the garden was not well kept. Not cozy—just very basic.

Amazing view of the bay of Mont Saint‑Michel, playground for children, friendly and responsive host, bedding, cleanliness, size and comfort of the rooms.
