We really liked the atmosphere of the old renovated hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and good, served by the chef. Dinner was excellent with local specialties. We were able to choose our room. There is no lift, but that didn’t bother us.

Warm welcome and practical reception: no questions at arrival, just the key. After a long mountain hike, that was worth it. Breakfast was nice, with a boiled egg—something not taken for granted in France. The bathroom and shower cubicle were a bit tight, though the shower itself was nice.

I couldn’t have breakfast because it was served too late, so the owner told us to contact booking for a refund, but booking said otherwise and didn’t respond to our email—frustrating.

Three days at this hotel‑restaurant were wonderful; the staff were welcoming and professional, the bedding and cleanliness were perfect, and we dined every night at the restaurant where the meals were hearty and excellent—highly recommend.
