The location was great, but I had to pay for extra towels even though I always book through Booking and never pay for additional towels.

The room was spacious enough for more guests, with a comfy bed and a bathroom on the corridor outside the room, plus a window overlooking the yard and a mosquito net; however, opening the window let in constant noise from people washing or using the toilet and seagulls, and the shared dining area only had a table, two chairs, a big fridge, and a microwave, with nothing else—just plastic disposable cups. The owner communicated quickly and smoothly, giving us all the instructions for check‑in, and there were free parking spots in front of the building; the city centre and train station were nearby.

The location was convenient, close to the train station and within easy reach of the old town, and the room was spacious, but the apartment lacked essential facilities: the water heater was tiny and hot water ran out quickly—there wasn’t even enough for one person to finish a shower before it turned cold—and the air conditioning barely worked, leaving the room quite cold. There was no coffee machine or microwave, although a refrigerator was available.

The communication was friendly, we were even allowed to check in early, everything was clean and nicely furnished, and the place was only 200 m from the main train station and a 15‑minute walk from the city centre—great for exploring Palermo.
