“Heartwarming”

I love Aswan and have stayed in many hotels over the years, but Aro Kato has become one of my absolute favorites. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and incredibly relaxing from the moment you arrive. The food deserves special recognition—unlike many places in Egypt with fixed menus and heavily grilled dishes, the chefs here happily adapt to your preferences, preparing lighter, healthier, and fresher meals in a European style while keeping authentic Egyptian flavors. The rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with spacious bathrooms that preserve traditional Nubian style with modern convenience. The location right on the Nile is peaceful and offers stunning views of Philae Temple, especially at sunrise and sunset. Above all, manager Ahmed makes the experience truly exceptional. He speaks flawless English, is highly professional, and pays genuine attention to every small detail. Ahmed goes far above and beyond to solve any request, make arrangements, and ensure complete guest comfort. His warmth, radiant positive energy, and outstanding management create an extraordinary atmosphere where you feel like a cherished family friend. I highly recommend Aro Kato for top‑tier Nubian hospitality, amazing food, and ultimate comfort. I will definitely return!

Very beautiful stay at this establishment. I had no idea about Nubia before this trip, and I was deeply touched by the hospitality, kindness, and sense of honor of its people. I met individuals driven by a genuine desire to do good and to help, with a lot of heart and authenticity. The staff of the establishment took care of me throughout my stay. A special mention to Joseph and Armed, who were attentive and met my expectations with professionalism, kindness, and availability. I especially appreciated the magnificent view and the boat ride around the island of Heissa, which was a sublime and unforgettable moment. The place is peaceful, the nights are pleasant, the welcome is warm, and you truly feel at ease. I look forward to returning on my next trip, which I will recommend to my clients. I recommend this establishment without hesitation.

I would like to express great thanks to the entire Aro Kato team for the warm welcome and excellent service. Honestly, everything was special, from the organization to the comfort we felt throughout the stay. Special thanks to Mr. Youssef for his effort in organizing the tourist tours; he introduced us to the most beautiful places and prepared a well‑structured program that allowed us to visit everything comfortably and enjoyably. Also, Mammadou at the restaurant was always attentive to our comfort and served us food in the way we liked. The food there is truly delicious; all dishes were excellent, even the chef whose name we didn’t know deserves all the thanks. Moreover, the place is quiet and beautiful because it is on an island, very suitable for relaxation and gaining positive energy. A wonderful experience and I recommend it to anyone who loves comfort. The hotel currently does not have a pool, but there are plans to build one soon.
