The location was good and the building was wonderful. I think my attempts to call the hotel during the day—three separate times—made me feel frustrated; the phone rang for several minutes before cutting off and returning to the menu. Aside from that irritation, the hotel was adequate, though the tile work in the bathroom looked like it had been done by an unsupervised apprentice. Breakfast finished and was cleared promptly at 9.30am, which was fine since that was the stated latest time. It was a shame the staff effectively shut down earlier by running everything down so they could be over and done by 9.30.
