A great place to stay in Girvan, with freshly renovated and comfortable rooms; the owners are wonderful and very helpful, but a shower curtain would be nice because the water spills all over the bathroom floor.

The place was top‑grade, compact yet perfect for a short stay, with great access to everything and easy parking.

The spot was spot‑on, right by the harbour, close to the beach and town centre, and the host quickly handed me the electronic key; my room was spotless and the bed was amazing, giving me two nights of solid sleep—would definitely stay at no 53 again. The only gripe was the small en‑suite toilet/shower; as a bilateral amputee it was a bit tough to navigate, but the hosts weren’t to blame.

Great location next to the harbour at a fair price; the room was well finished, had a microwave and fridge, and we were supplied with fresh milk and water. The bed was super comfy and the hostess was lovely and helpful. The room was scorching even with the heating off, so we had to ditch the duvet; a microwave would have been better with plates and cutlery, and for some reason the doors didn’t lock—after a long day we found both the main doors and our room door unlocked, maybe a user error. Sounds like a gripe, but we’d stay again! 😂❤️
