The food was magnificent, with dinners that were the best we had on Efate. The rooms were good, clean, and well appointed, but the Wi‑Fi was very flaky.

The staff were friendly enough and the resort itself wasn’t too bad…. Unfortunately, this place was not worth the money at all. We were really looking forward to having a nice resort stay to finish our trip in Vanuatu and were willing to pay good money to stay in a nice room. The air conditioning in our room did not work. The wifi in our room also did not work. Despite the fact that we told the staff multiple times, they only came and attempted to look at the wifi once, very briefly on our second day. Even after attempting to fix it, this issue still persisted. This appeared to be a known issue as other rooms had also complained. It seemed there was a reluctancy by the staff members to help us with this issue which was a little bit frustrating considering the cost of the room we were staying in. The bed was comfy, however it was two single beds pushed together. The price of the resort was advertised to include breakfast but when we went to get breakfast we found out that “breakfast included” meant ‘light breakfast’. If you want to eat something actually substantial, you must pay for it. This again, was disappointing. We did not eat lunch or dinner here due to the price of the menu. During checkout, we were advised that the hotel had a fixed exchange rate which was much worse than the current exchange rate, meaning if we wanted to pay by bank transfer to avoid the 3.5% surcharge we would ultimately be charged more than double what the surcharge would have been. It was a shame that this was not advertised on the price at the start as we almost had to pay more than $100 than was advertise with no explanation until we questioned why the price was different. Overall, the resort was nice enough but unfortunately it was absolutely not worth the money that we spent. We had better hospitality and food at home-stays and bungalows that cost 1/10th of the price

The food was excellent, but there was some construction going on.

The staff and the food were excellent. Location (was a bit isolated) and the resort was run down. Maintenance was occurring but it’s not as nice as it appears on the photos
