“Рекомендовала бы тем, кто не боится шума с улицы. А так все отлично.”
We stayed with my husband from 3 January to 11 January 2026. The room was standard for its category, spacious enough, and had everything we needed. The host helped avoid many problems; a safe was provided, and a basin was offered, though it wasn’t necessary. We were familiar with Sri Lanka, including Unawatuna, so we had no trouble navigating. Everything was within walking distance: the beach, restaurants, souvenir shops, and tours. Across from us was the HOT ROCK restaurant and beach entrance; you can get free sunbeds if you order something there. Beach towels cost 450 rupees. Because the restaurant and beach are at the "intersection of all roads," the beach is always crowded. Nearby are many other interesting restaurants with beach access, all with similar conditions. In the evening, the sunbeds are removed and tables are set up on the shore.
We would like to suggest improving service quality by providing at least a couple of towels per person or beach towels. The room had only one towel per person for everything. There was also no dryer on the balcony, so we had to dry clothes on chairs.
