“Great location if you can look beyond the building site.”
I booked last minute, the night before, and the hosts were friendly while the location was perfect for exploring the area. Inside the place was great, with a good TV, shower, and bed, but the building site outside made the hosts apologize, saying “it’s the end of the season.” We couldn’t get the kitchen lights to work and the sockets didn’t give enough room for appliances. Breakfast was mediocre; the decaf coffee arrived only once and I had to ask for milk. Compared to other breakfasts in France, it was basic. There was no place to hang clothes—no rail or drawers—and the Wi‑Fi was very poor. I didn’t get to try the pool because I only stayed one night.
