“Another restful stay”
Staying there was always a pleasure; the staff were friendly and check‑in was smooth. I enjoy the privacy it offers. Everything else was fine.

The location was good and the price fair. Unfortunately, the carpet in the room was wet and I had to keep my slippers on all day. The men’s and women’s guest bathrooms in the breakfast lobby were “not working”, giving a throwback feel to the Covid era.

It was very clean—clean enough for baths—and the washer and dryer were nice. The location was odd, keys rarely worked, and the coffee pot I had to go down to the front desk for ended up not working. The staff weren’t pleasant, and it felt overpriced.

The pool was a highlight. I paid $717 and the couch in our room was shredded, posing a bacteria risk; the pull‑out couch bed had no sheet and the pillows were gross. Drawers weren’t cleaned 😕 Breakfast options were disappointing, garbage lay under the couch, and people didn’t put the bumpers on the box spring, so my husband’s ankle hit the bar in the morning and the bar stuck out far enough that his head hit the flat‑screen TV. The front desk claimed they only had one roll of toilet paper, saying the housekeepers had the rest, but when I went to the housekeepers they told me to get it from the front desk. 🙄 Don’t forget your favorite German roaches.

The staff were decent, but the property is just in bad shape. It’s not that everything is old, it’s that everything looks poorly maintained. From the moment you step into the elevator you can already imagine the condition of the rooms. The breezeway and common areas look terrible and have very poor lighting. When we finally got to the room, things didn’t get any better. The room was extremely humid, the furniture was old and literally falling apart, and the A/C didn’t work properly. I understand that hotels deal with difficult customers and that not every guest will be happy with everything, but people should at least be able to enjoy a clean, comfortable stay for the money they are paying. The common areas should be well‑lit and maintained, and the room should feel clean, fresh, and comfortable. Instead, I honestly felt dirtier after taking a shower than I did before. 🙄 This property needs attention. Whoever is managing this hotel is doing a poor job of keeping up with basic maintenance and the overall condition of the facility. The property is clearly overdue for some improvements—not necessarily a complete renovation, but at least proper maintenance, better lighting, working A/C, cleaner rooms, and furniture that isn’t falling apart. Management needs to invest some time and money into this property because guests deserve much better than its current condition.
