The area is nice, but the bed was horrible; I spent almost 600 dollars on a nice hotel and they couldn’t provide a comfortable bed.

The view was exceptional, the room beautiful, and the grounds gorgeous. We called earlier that day to ask about early check‑in because Labor Day weekend meant we couldn’t visit a redwood park and were arriving sooner; they said it wasn’t guaranteed but they'd try to accommodate us. We also tried a nearby crab shack, but the line was half a block long. Arriving at Bodega Bay an hour and a half early, our room wasn’t ready, so we asked the man checking us in if there were on‑site restaurants; he directed us to the Fireside Restaurant, which turned out to be closed. We sat in our car until 4 pm when I called to see if our room was ready; they told us our bags would be waiting for us in the room, which was odd because our bags were still in the car. I walked back, picked up our keys, and eventually got settled.

I loved the bikes, the grounds were beautiful, the room was very nice, and the restaurant food was excellent.

Amazing room, facilities and setting. The restaurants were a highlight too. We were also given a complimentary upgrade for our engagement. The pool and spa facilities were excellent as well. The only negative was that we received a spa bill on our invoice that wasn’t ours. We only noticed this at checkout on the printed receipt. This was quickly fixed by the property.
