The room was lovely, clean, comfortable, and offered mountain views; the bathroom was nice with hot water and good coffee facilities. The dining room was spacious and inviting, served delicious food, and the service was excellent. Reception staff were welcoming and very helpful, and they arranged an exceptionally helpful driver and car for my stay in Ladakh. Wonderful! I liked everything.

The only perk was its proximity to the market. The room was plain and missing key comforts; there were no toiletries in the toilet, the mattress was awful, and a ceiling fan was absent. The balcony existed only nominally—tiny and unusable. All in all, the experience fell short of what I had hoped for.
