The welcome was friendly and the surroundings are lovely, but the room could use a bit more comfort, especially the lighting.

Overall the hotel isn’t bad; the room was always spotless and fresh after the housekeeper’s work, and the quiet, peaceful location was ideal, with friendly staff earning my thumbs‑up and my recommendation. However, I did notice cockroaches twice, the double bed was actually two separate mattresses that slid apart, and the furniture looked worn, though I won’t count that as a major flaw since the cleanliness remained high.
