I was told the payment would be processed on the site, but it was taken from my account right after booking. A $100 deposit was charged to my card and I was told it would be refunded in 2–3 days, but I still haven’t received it.

“The worst hotel in Newtown in St. Charles Mo.”
On July 24, 2026 I arrived an hour before check‑in to make sure everything was smooth before picking up my granddaughter. Thank God I did that because the outside of the facility was filthy—trash everywhere, and old garbage lingered around the bins. Several things I disliked: as soon as you walk through the door it smells like burning, the carpet is filthy throughout the building, the elevator smells of urine. In my room the shower had mold in the corners of the door, the bed comforters were dirty with cigarette burns, and the sheets and mattress looked like they came from a trash field, black and full of bed bugs. I can’t believe this place is still open for anyone to rent a room; it should be closed down.
I really want to like this place. The staff were exceptional—very kind and professional. The price was fair, my dog was welcome, and the location was absolutely perfect. The towels and bedsheets were incredibly soft. I wish the indoor or outdoor pools were open, and I had a hard time turning on the shower and getting hot water; the shower could have been cleaner. I didn’t report this to anyone, but I really want to like this place.
