The place is lovely and well situated, with comfortable, well‑sized rooms in a separate block at the back. The hot shower was nice, the hosts were friendly, and breakfast was lovely. Just check whether the property serves food on the evenings of your stay, because there’s nowhere nearby to eat unless you’re willing to drive.

This place was outstanding the owners Sheila and Peter were so helpful Everything was immaculate the breakfast was 1st class if we were. Ever in the area we'd definitely stay again. Loved everything!!! Absolutely nothing to dislike

I truly enjoyed the picturesque surroundings of this hotel, which seemed to be steeped in history and charm. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making me feel like I was stepping back in time. However, I did notice a few minor issues with the room, but they didn't detract from my overall experience.

The two hosts at this hotel truly went above and beyond to provide an exceptional breakfast experience. They were accommodating and flexible, even offering to serve breakfast at a time that suited me rather than the usual schedule. This thoughtful gesture made a big difference to my stay and left a lasting impression. While everything else was satisfactory, I didn't have any major complaints.
