We first booked one night and ended up staying longer! Both hosts were very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. On the first day we arrived, we received a lot of explanations and recommendations on what to do in the village. Breakfast was really good, and you could order lunch or dinner from the warung just across the street. The place itself is very peaceful, and we could relax before and after Rinjani trekking. 100% recommend! Wifi was a bit slow at times, but it worked for what I needed, as I was teaching online.

We had a very pleasant stay before and after our trek to Mount Rinjani, organized by Agung and Tina. The village is surrounded by beautiful forests and waterfalls, making it a perfect place to relax and recharge. A big thank you to the whole team for such a fantastic experience. The trek was a true adventure for both me and my son, and we’ll remember it for a long time. Special greetings to our guide, Nawe, who made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for everything!

Raman Kawan owners Tina, Agung and their 3 children were very welcoming and helpful. Our family of 4 Mt Rinjani trek was booked and organized by Rumah Kawan Homestay, exceeding our expectations. Our guide Noa was fantastic, camping equipment provided warm and comfortable, food plentiful and delicious. If you are planning to trek Mt Rinjani, book via Tina and Agung, everything was perfect. Rooms are very neat and clean, the gardens are lovely, breakfast delicious and a short walk to waterfalls.
