Everything was perfect. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, and one downside was that the restaurant dinner price didn’t include water; you had to pay almost 5 euros for a bottle of water, which was a bit excessive. Those were the only negatives.

The spot was spot on, just a hop from town centre, and the breakfast was solid. But the room had a lot of hiccups: the shower broke and had to be fixed, the room phone died and never got repaired even after we reported it, and the metal shutter blind on the window worked fine for a few days before getting jammed down – a new electric motor was needed. I listed all these issues at check‑out and asked for a cut on the minibar and drinks bill, which they refused, and also said the room charge couldn’t be lowered because we’d booked it. It was a let‑down to end an otherwise decent stay.

Nothing good. Paying such a price for this was a disgrace – the bathroom was old, outlets gave shocks, the pool was moldy, and there were no bottled water in the rooms; you had to pay for tap water even though it was potable, which is truly shameful.
