“Unmöglich”
The location is right in the centre, but breakfast was not provided, the facilities were poor, and the towels were worn.

I was disappointed: at about 4 p.m. the computer that should have let me grab the room key (since the front desk was closed) didn't work, and I had to wait roughly an hour before I could enter, despite having told them my arrival time—my afternoon plans were ruined. Waiting for a receptionist to show up at her convenience, coupled with a broken external check‑in system, felt dishonest, especially since the room had already been paid for.

The room still had belongings and clothes from the previous guests. Reaching the first floor required climbing a narrow staircase with the luggage, which felt very unsafe. Afterwards there was a lift to the upper floors.

The hotel’s location is central, which is a plus. The listing calls the rooms “Deluxe,” but they are tiny compartments where you almost have to move sideways to reach the window. The “free toiletries” were just a small bottle of shower gel and a tiny soap bar. First, you have to haul your suitcase up a steep staircase. I booked a room overlooking the courtyard, but when I arrived I was given a room facing the street. When I complained, they offered me a rear room, which was clearly a lower class. I kept the first room, but I couldn’t sleep for three nights because of the horrible noise. The staff completely disregarded a reservation that had been confirmed well in advance. They claimed there was Wi‑Fi, but there was none in the room, and the hotel had no lounge where you could access the internet. There was also no way to store a suitcase until departure. The pricing was confusing. I paid Fr. 114 for a bad room, while someone else told me they paid Fr. 75. Clearly it was a shared shower, but that doesn’t justify the Fr. 40 difference.

The location is great! The receptionist was very friendly. There was no hair dryer in the room, so you had to borrow one at the front desk. The doors are catastrophic; you can hear everyone when you close them—very noisy. Breakfast: no butter portion, which feels unhygienic, a big block of butter, very limited selection, no hot eggs, the hot chocolate was almost cold. The free bus ticket was not received, supposedly a PC problem (2 days?!).
