The beautiful location, the friendly and creative host, everything was very tidy. You couldn’t get breakfast before 9 am.

The owner was very helpful and attentive, and on that rare rainy evening we wanted to picnic outside but he let us dine in the lounge instead; breakfast was excellent. The only problem was that the walls of our bedroom were very thin—neighbors next door talked loudly and kept a radio on until midnight, so we politely knocked on their door asking them to lower the volume, but they just knocked back abruptly from inside; it wasn't the owner's fault, though a note in the rooms reminding guests to keep noise down after 10pm might help.
