The location was great, but the place we got was not what was shown on the website – it was a glamping pod instead of the advertised Hampton Lodge, which was very misleading and left us very disappointed.

The town of Narberth was nice, but we thought we were booking a pet‑free lodge and got the wrong key, causing an embarrassing mix‑up with another guest; the lodge itself was dirty, with cobwebs and spiders on the walls, the hot‑tub jets were faulty, and the site was not as luxurious as the ads promised.

The view and hot tub were nice and quiet, but when we booked we saw a different lodge – one with a bedroom instead of a sofa bed and a much larger space – and there was no blackout blind on the main door, so light came in at 4 am; the swimming pool was closed, and we couldn’t book a table at the restaurant on Saturday because they had a private function, so we missed those facilities that were advertised.

The decor was stunning, the bed was comfy, the views were lovely, and the hot tub was covered when it rained; I will definitely return because everything was outstanding and there were no negative points.

The location was beautiful and the pod was lovely, but the unit had no oven and the sofa bed needed a topper for comfort; on Sunday the restaurant or bar closed after 4–5 pm without us being told, yet we still had a great stay, the hot tub was incredible, the staff were excellent, and everything was spotless.
