The location was spot‑on, just a stone’s throw from the historic centre, on a quiet street and not far from the train station. The rooftop terrace was a real highlight. The staff were quick to respond to every question. Highly recommend!

“Parfait !”

The B&B in Monopoli was great, the room was comfy and cool, and despite being in the centre it wasn’t too noisy. The host’s communication was smooth. The bathroom felt a bit cramped, but overall the price‑to‑value was solid. The pillows could have been softer.

“Just ok”

The place had a decent location and the room was a good size. I’d been traveling for three weeks and this was the priciest spot I’d stayed at, offering the least value for money. The room itself was fine but average. No tap water was provided – the ground‑floor kitchen had no water, unlike other places I’d stayed that offered filtered water. Breakfast was just a croissant and a coffee from a local café; other listings at a lower nightly rate gave a richer, more varied breakfast. I never met the host; I sent a message on the first day to learn how to enter the property and only on the last night of my five‑night stay did I receive a late note telling me how much cash to leave for the tax – I had to borrow money from friends because I had no small change. Overall, the value for money feels lacking in terms of what’s included and the host’s communication.
