The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good. The single room was extremely small and had no way to hang clothes. Unfortunately it was very noisy in the courtyard until about 22:30, probably because of the staff finishing their shift.

Location, history, decent breakfast. The hotel standard is definitely not worth four stars. An uncoolled bottle of the cheapest origin and no way to buy one there as a provision. No minibar for self‑service, that is serious! No air conditioning. The simplest equipment even in the bathroom. No mention of a quiet day at booking. Only at the booking confirmation.

The location is great and the view is nice, plus the breakfast is good and there's a parking spot right at the property. The only downside was that once in the morning there was no hot water.

The courtyard in front of the castle is really a great location. We were housed above the shop where the reception is. The attached restaurant is not cheap in the afternoon and evening, but quite good and with very friendly service, but that is not part of the hotel rating, because it is not included. The equipment etc. stays very limited, no fridge, no hot water device or similar. The bathroom is a bit old. It is loud from the hallway. Wi‑Fi only possible via Facebook login etc. View of a few trees. Breakfast is average by today's standards. Even on Sundays it was consistently cleared from 10:00, after 10:00 there was nothing left. All of this does not match the price at all. The price‑performance is really not measured.
Here the rule is: location, location, location! The castle on the slope with a view over the Neckar valley is impressive. This especially applies to the very good restaurant with selected tasty dishes. The room looks a bit simple at first glance; this is probably due to the castle feeling. The bathroom is renovated. Room 11 is directly at the house entrance. The loud opening and closing of the front door already disturb.
