I loved the location and the facilities, and the staff were so helpful and lovely. The shower wasn’t the best and the temperature control was all over the place.

The view is great and the spot is convenient; some rooms include parking and a few nice treats in the room, plus plenty of storage. The surface is clean but there were a few other cleaning problems—just in one room. Breakfast isn’t included and there’s no way to cook, so the facilities feel a little overpriced. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke during the day even though it’s a no‑smoking guest house.

It’s very well located and clean, but it’s a bit small for three adults.

The studio was clean, comfortable, and close to the train station, city centre, and beach; the beds were very comfy and I slept well. It had a good size with a separate living room, bathroom, and kitchenette, so I could have stayed longer but was sad to leave. I’ll definitely book again when I return to St Ives. Danielle was very accommodating and gave me extra towels when I asked. The freezer needed defrosting—though I didn’t use it, it leaked occasionally. I had to use the dehumidifier and empty it often to keep the room dry. I struggled to get my key out of the lock box on arrival, but after ringing the doorbell I was helped and shown to my studio.
