Wonderful location. The service was distinctive.
“We had a great time at the property. No regrets. Recommend to friends and others.”
Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and courteous. There is no permit room, and as a hill station, adding a nice rest‑bar would be an attractive addition to the property.
It was a calm and quiet stay, perfect for a family.
The rooms are spacious, tidy, and very clean. Essential toiletries, including toothbrushes and soap, were provided. A large TV with all major OTT and streaming subscriptions is in the room. The swimming pool is the resort’s highlight—clean with lovely scenic views. Breakfast was tasty and well arranged. Drivers were courteous, skilled, and helpful. The approach road to the resort passes near a rocky area and is a concrete road with an extremely steep incline; the slope makes it dangerous if another vehicle is coming down while you are climbing, so it’s best to call the resort beforehand and rely on their experienced drivers. Because the property sits above this hazardous slope, it is strongly advisable to avoid staying here during heavy monsoon seasons. The minibar and service issue: the mini‑fridge stocked with snacks and drinks (Snickers, Coca‑Cola, cashews, etc.) carries a steep 50 % markup above MRP. At the time of booking, I specifically requested that no chargeable items be kept in the room, but despite following up twice after check‑in, the staff never removed them. Outside the pool area, there are no special viewpoints on the property, and on‑site activities are practically non‑existent. Non‑complimentary lunch and dinner at the resort restaurant are quite expensive. A practical alternative is to drive about 1.5 km down to Anachal town, where you will find good restaurants serving delicious, budget‑friendly food.
