The staff were friendly. Everything you’d expect from a guesthouse was there. The room and layout were very nice, and the price was good. Breakfast was basic but acceptable for a guesthouse. It’s also close to the ferry terminal.

The manager, who speaks French, gave a very warm welcome. The place sits a bit up high, so it’s quiet, and it’s only 5 minutes from the ferries and the city centre. My room was comfortable, the bathroom was very nice, and breakfast was well supplied. Just watch out for mosquitoes – the room comes with sheets and lotion for that.
An excellent stay at Bamboo Paradise! The guest house is perfect: the accommodation is very pleasant, the bed is ultra‑comfortable, and the welcome is especially professional. Special shout‑out for the clear directions to the port. Nothing to criticize, everything was top!

The guesthouse is very pretty and clean, the owners are welcoming, and the breakfast is great. We had a room‑shower with an open‑air shower. A door separated the room from the bathroom, but a gecko still got into the room.
