We had a solid stay overall. The property boasts lovely grounds and sits away from Ubud’s hustle, giving a calm vibe while still being close to everything. Walking to the main street or hopping on a scooter takes only 2–3 minutes to hit the center and spots like Yoga Barn. We barely used the breakfast buffet because the spread felt odd for us; we stuck to avocado toast or an omelette, which hit the mark, and the fresh fruit was a definite highlight. We didn’t have time to test other amenities, so I can’t weigh in on those. The only downside was a wedding nearby one night, and the noise was brutal—almost as if the party was outside our window—lasting until about 12:30 a.m., which was a relief it stopped then. We’re light sleepers, so we wore earplugs every night.

“Fantastisch verblijf met uitzicht op een rijstveld in een oase van rust”

The place sits in a gorgeous setting if you’re after peace, not far from the lively main street yet offering a stunning view of the rice fields. The staff were friendly and the shuttle to the center was handy. The breakfast, by Indonesian standards, was thin, but it was enough and offered a decent variety.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the shuttle service was a real bonus. The gym, however, didn’t live up to expectations.
