We booked to stay here months ago but then we recently had some difficult news - it was the perfect place to take stock of where we’re at. We got away to the most magical place. Everything was so next level. The linen, the breakfast, the views! The staff were beautiful, hearing about the whakapapa filled my Kete. I honestly felt privileged to be on the whenua. Nothing. It was definitely the most we have ever paid for accommodation - we had decided to treat ourselves but nothing disappointed us

I had an incredible stay at this hotel, which boasts an amazing location that's perfect for experiencing world-class surfing. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the owners and staff were warm and welcoming. What truly stood out, though, was the strong cultural and familial ties to the land, which added a rich layer to our stay. The on-site dining and chef made our birthday celebration truly unforgettable.
