Guest House - Palácio Diana

“So charming!”

We fell in love with Guest House Palácio Diana; its spot is incredible, just a few steps from Évora’s Roman Temple and within a short walk of all the town’s attractions, eateries, and pretty lanes. The rooftop was a real treat, and we were fortunate to catch a stunning sunset from there right after we arrived. The rooms were tidy, cozy, and inviting, giving us a great base for exploring this unique corner of Portugal. We had a fantastic time in Évora and especially enjoyed the friendly locals we met along the way. We’ll definitely come back and would recommend this guest house to anyone who wants to experience the history, charm, and hospitality of Évora.

“Top Lage in der Altstadt”

The location in the old town was excellent, everything was within walking distance. The spacious room was well equipped and very clean—usually it’s quiet, but we caught the celebration for newly enrolled students, so there was street party and loud music until 5 am.

The place offers good value and a truly central spot. Because it’s an old building, there’s no soundproofing for noises from inside or outside; if you’re like me and can’t sleep with noise, bring ear‑budds.

The location was perfect. The cleaning was only superficial, with leftover hygiene products from the previous guest.

“A gorgeous place to enjoy and from which to explore the wonders of Evora”

The property and staff were fantastic, well‑equipped and very friendly. Not a complaint, but it’s not ideal if stairs are a problem or if you have a lot of heavy luggage.
