The location is great, and there were no issues at all.
The location is great, but the shower wasn’t very clean.
“Not worth the money”
The location was ideal and easy to find, but the experience was awful: we chose the Red Roof Inn because it was pet‑friendly and close to Knoebol's for a weekend family getaway. A friendly woman at the front desk checked us in, but the room smelled horribly, had stained sheets, and a broken toilet with no water. We asked for a different room, but the second one smelled even worse; we stayed for one more night because we had only one more night in the area. I’ll never return and advise others to avoid bringing family here. The property is run down, filthy, and the “non‑smoking rooms” are heavily scented with cigarette smoke.
The location was convenient for my work, but the furniture was dusty and unclean, and there were roaches.
“Stay at your own risk.”
The evening front desk woman was wonderful and very helpful, but my husband, daughter (3), and dog were met with a kind greeting, and the facility was well lit yet somewhat run down. Our in‑laws were originally next to us until their room was moved after a broken toilet and stained sheets were found. We discovered a pizza box with pizza still inside under the bed and an empty beer bottle, which was disgusting. There was no soap anywhere when I went to wash my hands, so I had to bring my own. No one ever serviced our room, which was gross with a toddler still in pull‑ups. On the second day, we found dead, squished bugs that looked like bed bugs all over the floor, the last straw for me. We tried to address the issue with the staff, but it was a nightmare. We decided to finish our stay, but this is the first time I’ve been so grossed out. Do not come here, especially not with little ones unless you plan to clean the room yourself while your husband keeps them occupied.
