The stay was very pleasant. The owner is one of the friendliest, most pleasant, and attentive people I’ve met in Sri Lanka. The room was fine; we spent three nights and were happy. It’s true that the property isn’t right on the main road; you have to walk about 10 minutes on paths, which is worth noting at night. All in all, a very good accommodation.

The place sits in a lovely setting, giving the impression of being in the middle of nowhere, yet it’s actually close to food, shops, and sights. The rooms were spotless, we had a small fridge, and the outdoor seating was amazing. The owner cooked a tasty local breakfast (extra cost), but it was worth every penny. I wish we could have stayed longer. The owner also organizes safaris and personally picked us up from our first night’s dining spot, and arranged taxis for us!

The owner and his family are very nice people, always ready to give recommendations and suggestions without being pushy, which we really appreciated. They brewed coffee at 4.45 am the day we planned our trip to Lion’s Rock, and they kindly lent us bicycles. The breakfast—dahl rotti, eggs, and fresh fruit—was simply delicious. The location is convenient for Sigiriya’s main attractions. Highly recommended!

This was probably the nicest place we stayed during our Sri Lanka trip. Janaka, our host, was excellent. He even arranged for us to go to the next hotel for a swim one afternoon. The coffee was perfect, and the breakfast was huge!

A great five‑night stay in Sigiriya. The hosts are adorable, always ready to help organize outings and excursions (Dambulla, Polonnaruwa, and the Minnerya safari, which we shared with other hotel guests) and trips from the airport or to other cities. The breakfast was very generous and served at any time. A tip: go to the rock opposite Lion’s Rock, which is free and unguarded at sunrise. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work well.
