The owner was friendly and enthusiastic, and the service was great, but the pillows were bad and I couldn't sleep well; after a tiring day of exploring I woke up feeling unwell.

1. No front desk, so you have to call someone first. 2. The hotel doesn't provide bottled water, tea bags, or coffee—only a water dispenser. 3. The bedding was not changed; after staying two days the sheets were still dirty, and despite being notified the response was casual, claiming they change them daily. 4. Breakfast was minimal: three drinks, toasted bread, a cold salad, bamboo shoots, a vegetarian Puli mixed rice noodle dish, egg with preserved vegetables, braised vegetables, corn soup, sweet potato porridge, braised pork rice, watermelon, dragon fruit, and the rice noodles were the most palatable. 5. The Wi‑Fi kept dropping and was hard to reconnect. 6. There was only one female staff member, and she was friendly.
