Not much to say. There was no Wi‑Fi, no electricity, and no water for several hours, and the staff offered no solution. The room wasn’t clean, the bed was uncomfortable, and there were stains on the sheets.

The location was fine, but there were insects in the room.

The location was decent enough, though we only stayed one night on our way to Bukit Lawang. It’s pretty cheap, not the cheapest but acceptable by Indonesian standards. It was quite disappointing though; we weren’t expecting luxury for the price, yet the sink wasn’t plumbed, there were only two squat toilets with no toilet paper, holes in the bedding, and so on. The staff were unresponsive when we arrived. The lamp in the room didn’t work and was covered in dust, looking like it hadn’t been touched in months. On our return through Medan we stayed elsewhere for the same price and everything was perfectly good quality, so this place is definitely below standard even for the price.
