From the balcony you can see paddy fields and mountains; the rooms are clean and the buffet breakfast is good. The young husband and wife who run the hotel are kind and ready to help, and they even learned Japanese for us! They arranged a car and driver to visit the H’Mong Palace in Saphin and booked our seats on a limousine bus back to Ha Giang. We will definitely return. We could have stayed longer since we’re retirees traveling alone, but we ran out of Vietnamese dongs and the hotel doesn’t accept credit cards. Also, as of July 2026, Dong Van banks don’t exchange money. We’re sure this issue is temporary because the number of tourists is rising quickly.

The welcome was very warm, dinner and breakfast in the restaurant across from the hotel were good and very affordable. Nothing else.

조식이 맛있어요. 바우처를 보여줬더니, 직원이 유령예약(ghoast booking)이라고 해서 기분이 좋지 않았어요. 부킹닷컴으로 예약했는데 도대체 이게 무슨 소리야
