“I would rather a bungalow by the beach”
The hotel looked lovely, as did the pool. Breakfast was nice and the views were good. The beach bungalows were quiet and appealing. I stayed in a private villa with my son and paid a high price in Thai currency for the room. When we asked for bedding for the bed settee, they wanted to charge an extra 1000 B! I only used the pool once because of the chlorine smell. The tiles didn’t look clean, everything felt old and dated, and my room was on a hill by the main road, so it was noisy.
