It was a great experience; as motorcyclists we were given a private garage for our bikes upon arrival, we dined at the hotel restaurant (sorry I can’t recall the server’s name) and were welcomed and served excellently; the staff are all young, friendly, and helpful, it’s a very welcoming spot, and the breakfast was superb and varied from sweet to savory—excellent, 100% recommended.

The managers are very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous. The rooms were impeccably clean. Parking is available in the hotel. There is no elevator. Carrying luggage up the stairs to the 2nd floor is tedious and exhausting.

I booked a double room with a balcony in the separate wing of the hotel, just across the street from the main building. The balcony offered a small view of the lake and stunning mountain vistas. As part of a choir group from Wales with a packed itinerary, we were out all day, yet the staff were very welcoming and the breakfast buffet was generous with a good variety.
