A beautifully decorated place with meticulous attention to detail and a good breakfast, but the dinner priced at €45.00 per person (including one glass of wine) felt very sparse, offering only two starters and a dessert without any meat, poultry, or fish.

The property in southern Burgundy, a house with origins dating back to the 16th century, impressed us with a spacious, tastefully furnished room and a large bathroom featuring a freestanding tub and a great shower; the dinner—ordered by phone beforehand—was a superb three‑course menu with two glasses of wine, and the breakfast was also excellent; we’ll definitely stay there again on our next trip to the south.
