The location is quiet and the decor is nice, but the all‑included breakfast only offered two thin slices of bread, a bit bitter, and jam, which isn’t worth the high price. Without a car or bike you’re stuck at the hotel, and although staff are generally friendly, requests are either ignored or answered very late. The sea looked unappealing because of algae, so timing matters.

The spot on the beach, hidden within a nature reserve, was exceptional and very quiet; the restaurant was excellent, the service friendly, and with no other hotels nearby, anyone who can skip the Tulum tourist crowds will love it.

The entire beach was covered in seaweed, and no one cleaned it.

It’s quiet and faces the ocean. We had to keep showing our reservation details at the park entrance.

The room was clean. The daily fee was a problem. On the first day the reception gave us a taxi to the hotel zone for 850 pesos; on the return a taxi driver told us we’d been scammed, it should have been 500/600 pesos, which made us very suspicious. The jaguar area felt very desolate and full of sargassum.
