View over Chch, and quiet. We did not get any towels in our room, and there was no one at reception to get some from. There is a strange smell on the first floor/common area

Very beautiful and quiet. Wifi password needs to be somewhere in the room - we couldn't find it. Netflix wasn't working and staff member couldn't rectify this

Lovely old house and looked well undated. Aircon did not work but had an oil heater, breakfast offsite which was hidden until checked in with very little choice. Breakfast from 8am and second day I arrived at 7:58am and was turned away as they were not open yet! No milk in room for tea making, bathroom toilet roll holder falling off and in shower soap in pump bottle on the floor. I stayed two nights and room was not serviced

Incredible views! Comfortable bed. Breakfast included option, but the breakfast is not located on sight. Rather a cafe 250m walk away. Although the breakfast was lovely and the owners were very accommodating, I felt it was a bit cheeky to offer a breakfast included when it’s not on the property
