Hotel Lozano, located 5 minutes' drive from central Antequera, offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and private bathrooms. The hotel is 1 km from the Menga and Viera Dolmens and enjoys excellent motorway access to Costa del Sol beaches (30 minutes) and Granada (50 minutes). On-site amenities include a traditional restaurant serving local produce and 5 meeting rooms.

The place was super clean. The restaurant staff were a problem: two waitresses for one customer and they still didn’t notice anything, while at other bars a single waitress handled 20 people alone.

The air conditioning and the bathroom were perfect. I really loved everything.

I chose paella for lunch. Parking is free and monitored. The reception and restaurant staff were merely polite and competent, especially at the restaurant (for example, the paella was served at the table, but we had to wait 10 minutes to get our plates so we could finally serve ourselves). The room refrigerator whirred all night.

It’s as close as you can get to modern Spain; only locals and a few expats, plus an excellent restaurant; no breakfast was offered.
