“Perfect Edinburgh mini break”
I was blown away by the gorgeous setting and the chance to meet the animals and Lyn, and the hot‑tub heating service was just the right touch for a quick weekend. I’m grateful, but we only had 2 days!
Everything was fantastic, top quality, and we got to meet the animals – absolutely loved it.
Lovely place, great location
The cabins feel cozy and are well kept, the scenery is amazing, and the owners are incredibly kind. The kitchen has almost everything you could need, the showers are lovely, the beds are super comfy, and the outdoor area is great for hanging out and cooking around the campfire. The owners were very helpful and showed us around the farm, and we even got to pet the animals. The only downside was that there was nowhere to hang jackets.

Wonderful shepherds hut, felt like a home from home. It was well furnished and had all the equipment in the kitchen etc to ensure we had a nice stay. Bed was super comfy too, the place was warm and cosy. I bought along some board games and the bbq food and we spent the afternoon outside with the eclipse! It was a nice break from the city life and everything inside the hut was of a very high standard. The huts are positioned a little close together, I think there’s a cluster of 5 of them, although there’s a dirt mound slightly obscuring the views between each hut so there is a little privacy still, it just wasn’t as totally isolated as I would have liked
