Beautiful house, high‑quality finish. Very clean and nicely decorated. The garden is incredibly beautiful as is the pool. Only the beds were very hard; we could feel the springs. A topper would have been nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Appartement de Luz! ❤️ We stayed for 10 days to celebrate our 25‑year anniversary with friends and family. What a stay, what a location and what a fantastic host! From the first moment we felt incredibly welcome. Everything was thought out and we were provided with so much extra service. There was fresh fruit, fresh produce and nothing was too much to ask. They thought of us so well and we felt truly pampered. The kitchen is fully equipped. Everything you need is there so you can cook together and enjoy. The beds were also wonderful and a big plus is that each bedroom has its own bathroom. That gives so much comfort and privacy when staying with family and friends. We even got to see the vineyard, which was an incredibly fun and special experience. And because there was no washing machine, our clothes were even washed and ironed for us. How special is that? It felt like we were at home, but on a beautiful location you normally can only dream of. And the view… absolutely amazing! 😍 Every time you open the doors in the morning and look outside, you’re again surprised by the beautiful view. Every day you see something different. Just waking up and opening those doors was an experience in itself. We really enjoyed eating outside, the lovely outdoor space and of course the pre‑heated pool. In the morning it was fantastic to start the day there and in the evening it was just wonderful to sit and enjoy the peace, the surroundings and the amazing view. Extremely grateful and we will definitely come back again!

Great, clean, and the hosts and staff responded quickly to any requests. You also get a basic food kit like fresh bananas, coffee, cereal, eggs and a bottle of Madeira wine for a welcome ☺️👍.
