TATA Homes B&B, a recently renovated historic building in Bologna’s city centre, offers family rooms with garden views, parquet floors, and a shared kitchen. Guests enjoy a tranquil garden, patio, free WiFi, and a work desk. Less than 1 km from La Macchina del Tempo, Santo Stefano Church, Piazza Maggiore, and the Archiginnasio, the B&B is 12 km from Guglielmo Marconi Airport.

The staff were very flexible and easy to reach on WhatsApp even though we only gave a short notice about our late arrival. Every step—key placement, codes, room numbers—was clearly explained with photos and descriptions. The location is great, just a short walk from the bus station. The rooms were spotless and easy to locate, and the common areas were well maintained. In the room there was a TV, which was always appreciated, as well as a mini‑fridge. The shared spaces also let you meet new people, and we were lucky to meet some nice folks there. The rooms could use better sound insulation, although we didn’t hear anything from the others, probably because of low traffic. The checkout time might be extended to 11 am, but otherwise nothing negative.

The location is good, and the building is old and nice. Unfortunately, there is no access to the outdoor area. The rooms are not furnished to suit their purpose—a small room with a massive wardrobe, a huge chest of drawers, a desk, and a small bed—so the space feels very cramped.

The location is good. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning.

The location is excellent. The common areas could be cleaner, especially the bathrooms (particularly the one closest to the bedrooms) and the kitchen.
